Sarah Asper-Smith
Sarah was born and raised in Juneau. She is a museum exhibition specialist and author. Through her work with museums across Alaska she assesses artifact collections and participates in public meetings to help communities choose those objects which best support the story they wish to tell. This unique combination of historical and social research has allowed Sarah to bring a fresh perspective to projects at destinations as varied as the Baranov Museum in Kodiak, the Berengia Center in Nome and the Alaska State Museum in Juneau. Her publications include the children's titles Have You Ever Seen a Smack of Jelly Fish? and I Would Tuck You In. Sarah makes her home in Juneau, Alaska.
